Livingstone House Of Prayer

LivingStone House of Prayer (LHOP) is located on the Mosaic campus in Newport News, VA. The sisters of Poor Clare, who were themselves committed to night and day prayer, inhabited our monastery for fifty years before us. For more information on LivingStone Monastery, click here.

On January 1, 2008, LHOP was born as we, too, answered the call to night and day prayer and worship. LHOP’s mission is to intercede for Hampton Roads and all of its inhabitants. We long to establish a house of prayer that is fully staffed with well-trained individuals, committed to keeping the fire burning night and day.

We employ the Harp and Bowl model at LHOP. Harp and Bowl is worship and prayer integrated together, based on Revelation 5:8.
