Mosaic: A Partnership of Congregations

River's Cross is a member of Mosaic, a multi-congregational partnership of churches and ministries.

This unique partnership enables the whole campus, grounds and facilities, to be used 80-100% of the time which is excellent stewardship of these God given resources.

The Mosaic campus is comprised of LivingStone Monastery (brick building in foreground), the new Cornerstone building (building in background), and Little Blessings Thrift Store (small building not pictured, located just to the left of the driveway shown).

Mosaic’s multi-ministry campus provides a model where several churches and ministries use the same facilities and call it home. Currently we have six churches, a seminary, a monastery, and a house of prayer. You might think of it like a college campus where all space is multi-use, versus an elementary school where space is used exclusively for one class. Except for offices, exceptional ministries, and storage, all our space is shared.

Worship services are conducted in two different chapels, a new auditorium and in large conference rooms. This unique partnership fosters a spirit of unity among various denominations. We learn from one another and steward our resources more effectively. Each church can then have more than it could have on its own. Mosaic also becomes a great place to incubate new churches or to extend the work of declining congregations. There are ministries that we share and ministries that are unique to each church. But the love and fellowship we have for each other is the great strength and blessing of this Mosaic partnership.Mosaic’s multi-ministry campus provides a model where several churches and ministries use the same facilities and call it home.
