Worship / Preparation

Worship involvement has several different elements all of which require training which we provide:

Preparation of the worship space

• arranging flowers
• setting up and putting away the linens and vessels we use for Holy Communion
• preparing the candles
• hanging worship banners.

Service participation

• reading lessons
• assisting with Holy Communion.

Worship leading

• as an instrumentalist
• as a vocalist

Instrumentalists do have to be able to play; and vocalists do have to be able to hold a tune. You do not have to be advanced to participate, but you will be required to participate in an informal audition so we can we can evaluate your level of involvement. We encourage the use of all forms of instrumentation so let us know what gift you bring to worship.
